Setup: Outlook 2007

To update your Outlook 2007 client to work with Popmail:

1. Open Outlook
2. Click Tools > Account Settings...
3. Unde the Email tab, click New...
4. Choose "Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP"
5. Enter your display name, email address (including '@gmail.com'), and password. Google Apps users, enter your full email address, e.g. 'username@your_domain.com.'
6. Select the 'Manually configure server settings or additional server types' checkbox.
7. Select Internet E-mail
8. Settings: name, full email address
   • In the Account Type dropdown menu, select POP3; enter the incoming and outgoing server names shown below.
   • In the 'User Name' field, enter your full email address
   • After creating these settings, click the More Settings... button.

9. Click the Outgoing Server tab
• Check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
• Choose the first option: "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"

10. Click the Advanced tab
• Incoming server must be 995, and must use SSL encryption
• Outgoing server must be 587, SSL encryption

11. Click OK, Next, then Finish
